A Trio of Tags

This trio was not intended as a one when it started out. It happened over a weekend long art athon. One theme was monochromatic, limit three pieces. Another theme was to use the same image three times on three different pieces in three different ways. I used different media and technique to color each.

This patriotic card is all Stampin' Up, except the verse, which is by Our Daily Bread Designs. The verse is the words to America the Beautiful, fitting for this time of year. Thanks for visiting!

Here is an acrylic painted background. I loved how this came out with the brush marks I made, so I kept it simple.

Ray 001: Red designer series paper, over blue card stock, over red card stock. Star punched from red card stock also. Paper Piecing using the ray technique.

Psst... It's a Tag

I used a corner punch on the top of the tag, both layers. The background of this tag is water-colored using an Aqua Painter. I stamped over it and added the greeting psst... Added a ribbon on top and wah-lah, done!

Dove Love

Cap and Paw

We have made only two graduation cards at Stamp Camp, and guess what? I have two graduation open houses to attend this summer! This is actually a thank you card, I didn't need more basic friend cards. The bottom third is embossed with a Stampin' Up edge folder. the flowers are stamped three times, without re-inking, and punched out with coordinating punch. Love the simple brown ribbon. Thanks for visiting!

Happy Birthday!!!

I love this simple birthday card. The candle flames are the wing from the Stampin' Up bird punch. This card is 3-D, with the Happy Birthday greeting being bowed out. It's just made a little longer than the white panel and attached with a brad on each end at the edges. How simple and fun is this card!?!?

You Made My Day!

This was a fun card to make. Made it at stamp camp last month. The green panel is embossed and adhered to white card stock. The two flowers are punched and layered, with a designer button attached to the middle. The ribbon is awesome! All Stampin' Up products.
