A Trio of Tags

This trio was not intended as a one when it started out. It happened over a weekend long art athon. One theme was monochromatic, limit three pieces. Another theme was to use the same image three times on three different pieces in three different ways. I used different media and technique to color each.

Lilith

I started making this for a swap of Goddess ATC's. We were to pick a goddess, her initial, and to include sparkle. I have always been curious about Lilith, so I ended up doing a lot of research and wrote a brief little history on the back of the card. Now I'm not sure if I want to trade her away....
I used: Sakura Glaze Pen in Black for her hair
Stickles in X-Mas Red for the comb in her hair
Liquid Pearls in Cantaloupe on her scarf
            Stampin' Up Owl stamp
Inkssentials Opaque Pen in White, which doesn't work well for me, on her initial

April Fool's Art Athon

These are inchies, yes they are one inch square. Something new I decided to try, after joining another athon at ATCs For All. This is how I actually get so many crafts done, I don't have time to over think it! It's an all types of art athon but mainly inchies. I used white card stock, acrylic paint, brayer, stamps, embossing ink and gold powder, gold ink, and markers. Column left to right: balloons1, balloons 2, love 1, and love 2.
 Thanks for visiting!

Grow

I took a huge step out of my box and joined a swap to make a page for a BOS or Book Of Shadows. A BOS is a personal book kept by a witch. A Grimoire is more of a "public" book, containing general beliefs, correspondences, and general earthy knowledge. I would consider this a Grimoire page swap as it is work done by other artists. This is the page that I made for the swap. It's a houseplant blessing!

How I made the background leaves: Stamped with Clear VersaMark, sprinkled heat & stick powder over it, and brushed pearl ex powder on after heating.
Back page: leaves are die cut, "Grow" is gold marker, brighter in real life

Base is a dark green card stock, lighter green card stock for leaves, white card stock for typed spell with designer paper card stock behind. Pearl ex is a shiny green/gold. All products are from Stampin' Up!, including the gold marker.

I hope everyone likes their page, I am very pleased with how it came out.
Have a Fantastic day!!!

Hey everyone, I back! This is a mixed media paper art project using paper, ink, real shells and those plastic dohicky things, (shell shaped). The images are fussy cut of course, with many of the pieces being 3D using foam adhesives.
